"They shot my Dad at twenty-two minutes after ten AM on a Tuesday morning as he was collecting his mail in the lobby of the HOME building on Commercial Drive in East Vancouver." Thus begins Jessie's odyssey into the twisted and dangerous world of hit men, organized crime, and the shadowy men who want her beloved father dead.

Jessie is the adopted daughter of a powerful mob boss and grew up around gangsters, but does she have what it takes to navigate that world and survive? Life for Jessie becomes more complicated with each passing day, and when she faces off against a hit man sent to silence her, she realizes she is out of her depth and seeks the help of one of her Dad's most lethal gangsters. Together they follow the trail from East Vancouver, through Chinatown, Skid Row, and all the way to Hollywood before the final explosive climax.
