This is a story about a boy named Orville Hempstead, who lives on a small farm and a few miles from a town called Hootersville. Orville loves with his Mom and Pop and his sister June. Orville is a very curious young man, he is very much influenced by everything that catches his interest. His sister is amazed by all the things that he can get into and still come out unharmed; except fro the snake, bees being dragged by a young bull and everything he can get into.
