(Admirer's Halloween is a spin-off of Accidental Valentine and a paranormal short story with the insta-love of fated mates. While it can be read as a standalone it might be more enjoyable if you've read Accidental Valentine first.)
Mateo Russo is the billionaire CEO to the best security company in the country and a fainting goat shifter. Not only does he create and sell top notch security systems but he also runs a charity that donates some of those systems to government agencies that don't have the budget to buy them outright. Years of being away from home and the man he's admired from afar but been too nervous to approach since he was a knobby-kneed thin as a rail teenager has him making the decision to open a smaller branch of his company closer to home.

Neji Chang is a Nekomata shifter and a chef who's lived and worked in Ravenwood for several years. With his knowledge of different cultures and foods, his restaurant Chang's is Ravenwood's most popular place to eat. The restaurant has been his whole life for so long, he's never had time to date. Neji was fine with that, until recently. Seeing his friends mated and happy has him longing for something more than the life he's been leading.

When Halloween rolls around, so does the town's Haunted Festival. Will pretending to be someone else for a night give Mateo the courage he needs to get close to Neji or will he go another year only admiring Neji from afar?
