None of which our doofus of a main character has. Which is why it's so amazing that the cartel hasn't been able to kill him yet.

But then again, nothing ever goes as planned with Jacob White. The man should've died several times in the first book, and here in book number two... well, no spoilers, but it gets messy. He just wants to write the next great bestseller about his cartel misadventure, but he keeps getting interrupted by people trying to kill him. Like the hitman from Chicago with a deer phobia. And the private security detail who keeps blowing his savings on risky investments he sees on wallstreetbets. When will they stop? Is this his life now? There's got to be a way out of this, right?

If you want something that's a mix of Carl Hiaasen, Tim Dorsey, and Chuck Palahniuk then this is it. Just no guarantee what bits of those three are present here.
