Karn Winters' husband died over a year ago, so she buys a country house to get a fresh start with her young son Gary. The house seems perfect with a very low asking price. Her lawyer is Bart Sinclair, a helpful friend of her husband's. She doesn't know he is eager to help her because of his secret agenda.
