When Aria ends up in a coma after being attacked, Melody worries that she may never see her twin again. But inexplicably, Aria begins singing in a strange language, even while her brain activity remains flat-lined. The hospital staff discovers that Aria's unique melodies are healing the other patients and it soon becomes apparent that Aria's songs are capable of healing any disease on Earth. While Melody just wants her sister back, the medical community is on the verge of finding the Holy Grail of cures in Aria's otherworldly tunes. Speculation runs rampant on the nature of consciousness and whether Aria is receiving guidance from a higher power on the other side of the veil.
