Here is a presentation of two of the best-loved adventures of the most famous detective in the mystery tradition. Both of them are presented in their entirety. The adventures retold here are "A Study In Scarlet" in which the good Doctor Watson is first introduced to our hero by young Dr. Stamford; and "The Sign Of Four," a wild and fast-paced tale of lost treasure and four unlikely men who have signed a pact. The stories begin at 221B Baker Street. There is always the serious and loyal teller of the tale, Dr. John H. Watson, late of Her Majesty's service in Afghanistan; and the often suspected and alluded to, Professor Moriarty, "the famous scientific criminal;" and, of course, the hero of these tales, the moody and enigmatic genius of Baker Street, Sherlock Holmes.
