This is the final segment of the Tales from Avalon series and tells the tale of Chisera as she delivers posts in a war-torn mid-south. She meets her father during one such outing and things take a surprising turn.

Her father had been captured by the Solarians - a race who is trying to subjugate the Earth for the past ten years. They surgically altered his eyes so they could see through them and spy on anything happening in his territory. She must keep him a secret as she also tries to keep from being punished for insubordination.
