In the Bible there is a covenant of blessing, which is a covenant between God and us. - A promise is a one-party initiative, while an agreement is a two-party bond. - In our covenant with God, there is our part and there is God's part. Only by understanding, agreeing and binding ourselves to live in the covenant offered by God will we make God bound to do his part in the covenant. That is why, MAKE A AGREEMENT WITH GOD. In that covenant, God promised to give blessings to our children and grandchildren, financial blessings, fame blessings, etc. to Abraham.
