Meg, the manager at a beachfront hotel, is anxious about her sister's upcoming wedding. One of the guests will be renowned lawyer Sam Grainger, her old crush. Though they haven't spoken since, she can't seem to forget the passionate night they spent together thirteen years ago. When they reunite, Sam doesn't seem to remember much about their relationship, and, insulted, Meg decides she's better off without him. Sam, on the other hand, is dealing with the trauma of his recent divorce. He and his wife were devastated when they couldn't have children. He's envious of Meg and her teenage son...not realizing that he is the boy's father!
