Part I. covers the various Hudsons and others from which they descended, partially based on written records and various stories handed down from my ancestors. It begins with Cecil, the first Hudson family who lived in England. Cecil is a fictional character. However, beginning with William (Hardy) Hudson, all names are my real ancestors as verified from Ancestry.com and other sources. The Hudsons sailed to American soil in the early 18th Century. Their story continues up to Owen Hamilton Hudson, my grandfather. The section preceding Isham Hudson comes from work done by Ronnie M. Hudson, Jr. who has done considerable research, including DNA tracing. He is a recognized authority on DNA and Hudson genealogy. Part II. This part covers my life, currently the living patriarch of the Hudson line. I rely on memory, stories handed down from relatives, and occasionally, and hopefully, an entertaining antidote. It starts on 29 July 1938, my date of birth—- and continues through August 2020—-82 years later, my age at this writing.
