Dominique Millette is a bilingual author and translator based in London, Ontario. She has written and published two books in French (the novel La Delphinée and the novella collection Car les dieux sont avec nous), one theatrical monologue ("L'Éveil de Sycorax") and several short stories in both languages. The creation of her second novel in French, Gouroueville, was funded by the Canada Arts Council. "Better than Elvis" came in second in Maisonneuve magazine's science fiction short story contest. "Oomblaug Day" was originally published in Parsec magazine. The author also studied with Joan Barfoot at the Humber School of Creative Writing.
