Do you feel alone and defenseless? Are you concerned that you have no one to look after your welfare? If so, the Bible tells us that the believer has an Advocate who is the Holy Spirit. When Jesus left this earth, He sent the gift of the Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter, to comfort and guide us. We are not left orphans. Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, is always with us. This is better than if He were present with us today. You can be encouraged, for God has promised to never leave you or forsake you.
