The SpeedReader Summary of The Go-Giver: A Little Story about a Powerful Business Idea by Bob Burg and John D. Mann
Inside, you'll find:
About The Go-Giver by Bob Burg and John Mann
The Go-Giver by Bob Burg and John Mann is a modern-day business parable and a quick read presented in much the same spirit as The Greatest Salesman in the World and The One Minute Manager. The parable is told through the fictitious story of a young, ambitious salesman named Joe. As hard-working and motivated as Joe is, his efforts have not been paying off. After a disappointing sales quarter, he unintentionally seeks the mentorship of an enigmatic character known as Pindar. Rather than helping Joe merely snag a quick sale, Pindar introduces Joe to a series of "Go-Givers," each of whom embody one of the Five Laws of Stratospheric Success. Those five laws are value, compensation, influence, authenticity, and receptivity. All of the five laws revolve around one common theme: If you want to be successful, you must focus on giving more than receiving.
The authors write, "Most people just laugh when they hear that the secret to success is giving. Then again, most people are nowhere near as successful as they wish they were."
Please note that this summary of The Go-Giver is NOT the original book and is meant to be read as a supplement to the original.
