Their respective provenance, their fate during World War II, and their sufferings under the Nazi regime are subject of part one of the volume. In part two the two protagonists meet. What starts out as a friendly encounter develops into a life threatening feud against the former friend Schulim Mandel. In the unpleasant course of events the two faces of the Nazi hunter become evident.
