"The Conquest of Canaan" is a fictional story set in a small town and revolves around the one-sided love of a young lad, Joe, that turns out to be an overwhelming desire. This book describes a whole lot; social inequality, changing times, honor, and pride among other things. A wonderful book for every member of the society and world at large. It discusses social issues and transformation in subtle ways.
