"It's All Relatives" is a memoir of 3 generations of the Gross family. Gathered from my memories and stories and writings of several family members.
I am a daughter of Holocaust survivors. All my life my parents would precede each story with "BEFORE THE WAR" or "DURING THE WAR" or "AFTER THE WAR".
Across 3 continents; from WWI, happy times before the second world war in Poland, the catastrophe of the Holocaust during WWII and Poland after the war. Then leaving Poland for Israel and finally migrating to Australia.
The challenge of 3 different cultures and 3 different languages provides some humour through very dark times and bonds our family together.
After all, It's All Relatives.
