Stephen was an incredible man of God. He was revered in his community and did many signs and wonders. He was filled with the Holy Spirit and took care of God's people. He loved everyone always. And yet the people in power were afraid of the power of the Holy Spirit at work in Stephen and the church. Despite numerous threats Christians to this point remained free as long as they didn't say Jesus was the son of God. What sparked Stephen's arrest when most of the apostles had been released from prison? Why was the mob so quick to stone him to death? This very short story fictionalizes the story of the first martyr in a dramatic way.
