Born and brought up in a literate and cultured family and fostered with great care and inheritance of knowledge in Uttarakhand – Mrs. Nidhi Pant entered this gigantic world on 19th march, 1968 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. She attained her primary education till M. Phil in the same city and completed all her necessary degrees in the field of academics and further continued her journey of gaining and spreading education. She has availed many awards and gained extraordinary knowledge and reputation in the arena of literature, language, origin and history of our national language, Hindi.

She has been a voracious and dynamic public speaker in Hindi and Urdu language and directed weekly sessions and conducted debate competitions from time to time to keep the flame of a rich culture and heritage of writing, burning deep inside her heart. 'Anmol Moti' written and compiled by her has been added in the Literature books of various school in Delhi, Jaipur and Udaipur from classes I to V. She has been felicitated and awarded for her short plays, speeches and debates at specific intervals and competitions at school level. She is a melodious singer, artist, director, writer, lyricist, dancer, actress and a high grade academician. Her televised performances of dance, dramas and songs were always appreciated tremendously by the audience.

The book 'EKANKI NIRJHAR' has been compiled with a varied range of one – act plays that are  known for portraying and solving many controversial issues and innumerable routine problems of the present generation through life saving strategies; hence acting as a solvent to all the solutions of a complex and stressful life and demonstrating the ways one can move ahead with positivity, spirituality and righteousness.
