《蘆筍.竹筍.茭白筍》,蘆筍引進臺灣後,高品質、大範圍的栽培,在過去贏得「蘆筍王國」的美名。播下種子後,等待地下莖探出小綠頭來就可以採收,不過可得小心提防黑名單中的害蟲,以免危害蘆筍的生長。竹筍是竹子的幼苗,不同種的竹子,出筍的時間各不相同,味道各異,若不採收,就會繼續向上長成高大的竹子,有時還能看見竹花呢!茭白筍的成因是自然界中一種特殊且有趣的現象,茭白植株成筍的最大功臣其實是黑穗菌,受到病菌感染的部分,才會膨大結筍,而且特別好吃;沒受到感染的部分,反而毫無經濟價值。
