This book is the third in a series of three books about Hanoi by Nguyen Truong Quy. The first book - Natural as Hanoi people - is the observation and understanding of urban morphology, clarifying the very special spatial characteristics of Hanoi. The second book - Eating pho is difficult to find delicious - is a portrait of the people in that city, especially focusing on the lifestyle of office officials, with humor.
This book, as its name implies, Hanoi is Hanoi, a search for cultural values in a city that seems to shape its culture but still has to be refined.
