In the second installment of the We Eat People Series, cannibalism is slightly visceral and gruesome but I suppose it's part of what makes some books leave you with a strange feeling for days - maybe weeks - at the time. And I wanna be honest: if you're not into stuff that is edgy and that touches the limits of what's considered "normal" you better leave this book alone. (I've heard of this book called Harry Potter, you should try that instead.)

Here we follow the life of Ultimo, a farm boy in rural Italy. He's been sold to a very mysterious man and assigned the role of cook in th house. He only cooks one special type of meat. Ultimo has no idea what animal it's from, but he's not allowed to eat the meat, he can only cook it.
That rule has been hard to keep up.
Eventually he tries the meat, that's when his life changed forever...
This is a prequel to the first book in the series but can easily be read on its own and the end of this short book, is on a different level of amazing, you'll love it just as much as I do.
