When love goes away, the soul is left so vulnerable and wounded that often darkness takes over. This collection of poems explores the difficult journey of strong emotions one goes through – from heartache, loss, resentment, anger, guilt, and loneliness, to eventually finding clarity, hope and healing. It is a journey that will hopefully lead to the understanding that if we stay authentic, each step through the darkness will bring the heart closer to freedom and empowerment.
