The Stone-Smith Family Saga consists of four books. It is the story of Jessica Stone and her Uncle Walter. She ends up marrying a friend in order to adoppt a girl whose parents were murdered in a kidnapping. This girl became the first of thirty-one girls to be adopted into this family. By the way, Uncle Walter is dead. I guesss that he still is; although at times one would have to wonder since he provided the financial security for the girls to live upon!
