These are trying times for all of us. It's important to ensure that we stay healthy and even thrive during these times. It's possible to do this by scheduling all the things you had no time for before the pandemic. Instead of focusing on the uncertainty of our times, try to focus on what we can control. We always complain that we don't have time to do the things that we want to do. Well now we have time. We just must decide what we should do and do it.

As I write this, the library and church parking lot across the street from my office window are empty. Despite living downtown, there are not a lot of cars going down my usually very busy street. I usually complain about the noise. Now I can hear the birds chirping like never before. I even put up a finch and cardinal feeder in my backyard for birds to munch on. I can write more peacefully for longer periods with the symphony of bird song.

Further, I intend to get a lot done around the house. My husband and I are decluttering our home. We are also painting the rooms upstairs and making our home look and feel brighter and fresher. We will also work on planting a veggie garden for the first time in a while. We may even build some simple garden boxes. We may also take more time to watch our favorite movies and read. I'm writing and self-publishing more. I plan to write a lot of E-books in the weeks ahead.

So, what are your plans? Take some time to decide what they are so that you can make the best of this unprecedented time. Because soon things will become busier as we get back to some degree of normalcy!
