This is a short story of hope. Dandelions came to be because of a lion tamer and her niece who loved something that was unlovable. The dandelion that was initially named and hated for being ugly survived and thrived. The rose in the parable was named after someone beautiful and therefore valuable to society. But then a lady cut the rose and the beautiful part died. Roses are easy to kill. It is dang near impossible to kill a dandelion. Are you a beautiful rose. Or are you a hearty dandelion who can shine despite torture and help make other happy?
