Carmine Lambiase came to Troy from New York City. He was a lynchpin in a narcotics combine managed by Troy distributor Sam Valenti. Ring members dealt decks of heroin and adulterated narcotic. The capture of Lambiase and Valenti was orchestrated by a combination of federal agents and Rensselaer County Police. Lambiase, 37, lived at 118 Third Street during his time in Troy. The raid on Valenti's premises was conducted on October 23, 1933.
