Something's afoot with planet Earth. It is strangely silent. There's a young alien who thinks it's strange too: a Venusian boy who, every day, looks out from his balcony on Venus to watch Earth, a planet always so full of life and sounds. One morning, however, he notices every activity seems to have stopped, and every place looks empty. Most of all, he hears... nothing! A deafening silence. A virus has invaded the bodies of humans. And Zinc, who has a distant cousin on Earth, heads there right away to save Martina's mother and the many people who have fallen ill. He has extra motivation too: up there on Venus, they use viruses to make a delicious sauce!
