Ted Madden was born in India, his Father was a sergeant in the British Army, the year was 1926. Upon his Fathers retirement the Madden family returned to their own home town Liverpool unaware of the severity of the Great Depression. They experienced degradation and squalor, with no work the family fled away from the insanities, crossing the Mersey and only stopping when they met the Sandy beaches of the Irish Sea.

Ted was an impulsive Gold Prospector and one of the first ever Aqua Lung (Scuba) Divers. Ted also served in the Army and spent time in Egypt. This book is the tale of a true adventurer and holds a few laughs, but may make you cry. It has near death experiences and stories of sweet revenge on the deserving.
