The second book in the series "The Sticky, Sticky, Stuck", Alice Rising tells the story of two friends that grew up in Ireland during The Potato Famine and were forced to leave their home country, like many Irish at the time, and take the long voyage across the Atlantic Ocean to Boston, Massachusetts. The two girls are met with something very ominous on the ship that will change their lives forever.
