Erin Saunders is twenty-nine and lives with her Mother and Grandparents. They have spent the last fifteen years struggling to pay off debts left by her Father, who disappeared when his gambling addiction became overwhelming.
When Erin learns of a possible inheritance, it seems that a financial recovery might be achievable.
She soon learns that what she thought she knew of family history, could be very different. For Erin to believe these new circumstances she will need to adjust her perception of the last fifteen years of her life, while keeping the stress levels for her Mother and aging Grandparents to a minimum.
Her married sister is no help; neither is her jealous cousin, so Erin relies more on her best friend, Kelly, and the lawyer, Mark Bradley, whose smile makes Erin's day much brighter.
