Levi Bancroft is a cop on a distant planet that has few laws. It is an entertainment planet that provides gambling and everything imaginable. Levi has had a rough time as life is not often fair. He is on a planet where everyone is on the payroll of organized crime. The exception being Levi, who hates them all, His bad attitude has been developed over the years as he brings his harsh justice to a corrupt planet. The only thing he loves is Jade, a singer who peaked early then spiraled out of control due to drugs. He is offered a chance to leave the planet, but he refuses. Then he is set up and has no other choice than to work with Colonel Barry Adams, who he does not trust. The mission is dangerous with little chance of success. He risks it all for a chance that could get Jade to get help.
