NVA regular troops were the most skilled fighting force dispatched by Hanoi during the Vietnam War. My e-book is a microcosm of their activity in the Mekong Delta region, i.e. U Minh Forest, Tay Ninh, etc., and near Phnom Penh several years later. NVA Regulars worked closely with their South Vietnamese comrades, the National Liberation Front, Viet Cong. The VC carried out such supporting roles as guiding NVA soldiers, burying bodies, treating wounded, and transporting equipment.
