The Paris Six, 1939, gets off to an auspicious start when the riders mistake a murderous gunshot in the stands for the starter's pistol: The Lavender gang had struck wiping out a snitch. Fat Henry, One Eye Joe, Pig Iron Johnny, Louie the Weasel, and the rest of his gang try to bluff the bookie and win big. But they are up against Chang Wo and his henchmen, as well as the mysterious Swiss banker, Hans von Hügli.
