Shakespeare\'s Julius Caesar is one of the most popular plays in the English langauge. It certainly is the most widely read, quoted and cherished piece of literature. The reasons are, its engrossing tragic plot, interesting historical content, intriguing and memorable characters (such as the heroic but bragging and egostistic Caesar, noble but naive Brutus, a shrewd conspirer but a practical genius, Cassius, a sincere friend but an incisive plotter and calculating orator, Antony) and their absorbing dialogues, speeches and confabulations.
