This 50-page report presents data and commentary from 25 colleges in North American about their use of free and low cost advice on college marketing from blog, listservs, newsletters, trade associations, social media platforms, video platforms and other sources. The sutdy focuses particularly on their use of social media such as Facebook and Instagram among others, and video sites such as YouTube and Vimeo In addition, survey participants relate their favored information and advice sources for issues related to digital marketing, public relations, retention and other areas. Survey participants also specify their favored newsletters, conferences, and other resources on college marketing. The purpose of the report is to help college marketing executives understand where their peers are going for their marketing and related information.
