Over the Boundaries is Marie Barrett's first book of poems since the publication of 'The Witnesses' in 2000. Elegies, celebrations of love and redemption, and reminiscences are interspersed with inspired dream and prophetic utterance. The endless quest to find some fleeting image of our true selves is a re-occurring theme of the book.
