How do you feel about the future?
Do you think humanity as a whole has one?
There is a new psychological condition spreading over the populace called eco-anxiety.
It is a fairly recent psychological disorder afflicting an increasing number of individuals who worry about the environmental crisis.
It's an understandable reaction to one's growing awareness of climate change and the global problems that result from damage to the ecosystem.
When the media's messiah on climate change rather conceitedly said, 'how dare you, you have ruined my childhood' to those simple enough to listen I wondered what her state of affairs was; a well-off family, in a comfortable, stable household, never for want of a good meal, hot bath, or needful things.
Then I thought of my childhood with the threat of nuclear war hanging over all of humanity's heads like the sword of Damocles. And my father's time in the Second World War and his father's time, when a Flu pandemic was sweeping the planet, causing the death of millions.
You see, life has no guarantees, no 'set in stone' receipts for a good, healthy, happy life.
But whatever you think or believe, one thing is certain, it is going to get hot, it is going to get very hot.
And that will be a problem for everybody on the planet.
