The purpose of this e-book is to present an introduction to the special issue on the subject of innovative practice in the teaching and learning of HRD. The ten papers reflect a wide ranging and changing landscape of professional practice. The e-book introduces innovative practice within a context of a particular challenge facing teachers and trainers of HRD.
