Four Chicago residents embark on what is supposed to be the trip of a lifetime. Traveling Historic Route 66 from Chicago to the Santa Monica Pier. They prepared their entire trip ahead of time, made sure their vehicle was in perfect traveling condition, they even had plenty of money for incidentals.
