Detectives Lazarus Johnson and Dick Nederland are called in to solve the case of a murdered lawyer, Jimmy Stone. There's only one problem - too many suspects. As they weave their way through the tangled mess of Jimmy's life, they encounter disgruntled law partners, a psychopath, a lady of the night, more than one ex-lover, and a devoted, if somewhat unconventional, sister.
