This short story takes place in a world where ghosts accompany people throughout their day. To get away from them, they visit the local bathhouse, where ghosts are not permitted.

Charlie is a young man with more ghosts than most, and though he loves them dearly and considers them family, they hover around him all the time. To find peace, he frequents the bathhouse almost every day.

One wintry evening, during a trip with his father, a ghost from his past reemerges and threatens to take away his other ghosts. With no time to reflect, Charlie must face a tragic childhood loss and make decisions that will alter him forever.
