Miranda, daughter of the magician Prospero from Shakespeare's Tempest, lives in the modern age. She runs the family business—Prospero, Inc.—so smoothly that most of modern humanity has no idea that the Prospero's magic has protected Earth from repeated disasters.

Upon discovering that her father has gone missing, she must discover the location of her other siblings and convince them to save their father, before Hell's demons destroy the Family Prospero. But there are traitors among them. And even if they survive, can they possibly rescue their father from the place he has been taken? Time is running out for Miranda, and for the great magician himself, as they battle against the most terrifying forces of the Pit.
