Die Originalversion von "Moonlight On The Colorado" wurde 1930 veröffentlicht. Von verschiedenen Künstlern wurden in den letzten Jahrzehnten zahlreiche Bearbeitungen des Songs angefertigt. Die bekannteste Version stammt von Carson Robison. Mittlerweile gehört dieser Song zum Popular Standard.
