Die Originalversion von "Anniversary Song" wurde 1946 veröffentlicht. Von verschiedenen Künstlern wurden in den letzten Jahrzehnten zahlreiche Bearbeitungen des Songs angefertigt. Die bekanntesten Version stammt von Al Jolson aus dem Film "The Jolson Story". Mittlerweile gehört der Song zum Popular Standard.
