Enter Kay: a woman who has embraced her identity as a former knight of the Round Table. She claims to be capable of finding Thade, but Cassian isn't so sure. Kay may have resources, but she has her own agenda as well. One that threatens to pull Cassian into a war he wants nothing to do with.

Time is ticking, though, and he is at a loss. Not only are his options dwindling, but his temper is growing and his doubts are clawing at his already fragile confidence. Can he gather himself and learn to trust his new allies before he loses Thade forever?
