Dale Arvey is the official Fourth Edition of the American Ornithologists' Union Check-list and its supplements, except where a revision has been made that is seemingly valid but which has not yet been acted upon by the A. O. U. Committee. This book is a list of birds that avid bird watchers can use as their checklist while out on their excursions.
