TAKING RISKS primarily focuses on three stories, that deal with testing the true bond between friends and lovers. Set in the 1920s, during the Great Depression, "Is she worth your life?" deals with Vera Brant, a wealthy caucasian, crime-investigator who undergoes a challenge of being able to publically associate herself with her poor, African American girlfriend, Octavia Brown, during a time of segregation and ANTI-LGBT. "Escape," focuses on the solid friendship between two childhood friends, Nadia and Leon, but their friendship is tested due to a real-life escape the room and being able to make it out alive, with that same bond they had coming in. "Experimenting," focuses on the hardship of finding true love in the modern world, with the same sex. The main character, Derik, finds himself falling for a manipulative flirt named Victor, who has an extensive amount of baggage that progressively gets worse by the minute. Derik has to decide whether or not he is willing to put Victor's baggage aside for a chance at what he thinks is true love.
