Jones' truck is on its last leg. He calls Rage to see if she will help him decide if he can repair the engine. They move the truck to Rage's garage. A few hours later and they see the engine needs to be replaced.
Rage comes up with a parts list they will need for the rebuild. They drop the list off at a parts store and travel to an engine rebuild shop to get their price to drop in a different engine. Later, they return to the parts store for their quote.
In the parts store they are looking at parts when a holdup occurs. Rage is at the far end of the store and Jones ducks down after that funny feeling. The clerk is quickly tied up and the gang goes to open the delivery doors, unaware other people are in the store.
Jones is without his Colt, but Rage has her Colt. He overpowers the robber in the store, but there is one outside, at the main doors. With some fancy work, the robber outside the doors shoots his companion and Rage shoots him. Jones grabs the robber's weapon and starts around the back to the delivery area. Rage goes to the delivery area from the inside. Quickly, the robbers are in custody.
Rage is without her estimates for the rebuilt. It maybe weeks before they are available, will they have to go to another parts store?
Mel, the manager of the parts store calls Rage, "I have the estimates for your rebuild. I could meet you at the mall, at the main square at lunch. We maybe able to send the order from another store."
Jones says when she hangs up, "We never left your number and none of the officers would ever give out your phone number or name. I don't like it."
The Inspector is told of the incident, and he starts to look for Mel. He tears up the city with no luck. Rage insists on holding the meeting but knows it is a trap. Just why, no one can see why. The Inspector loads the mall with officers, but they have no idea what to look for.
Rage and Jones prepare them self and her jeep for an unknown attack.
Who can cover the miles they must travel and keep them safe?
What does a full kiss on Jones' cheek mean?
