The big day finally arrived. It was Christmas Eve and all of the North Pole was very excited. Every Christmas elf worked hard throughout the year to make sure all the children get their presents. Sorting all the letters that arrived to Santa's address and making toys was a tough job. Decorations and ornaments were being placed on every house and Santa's workshop was officially closed for the year.

Most of the Christmas elves were given some free time to spend with their families, while few of them still had some work to do. It was very important to prepare Santa's sleigh and tie up all the Christmas bags together. Reindeers were given lots of food and water and were being harnessed to the sleigh. Snow was falling and even though it was cold, the whole event felt very warm and cozy. It was time for Santa to pick his two little helpers.
